The Railway Recruitment Board released a notification for 11558 vacancies in 2024.  The recruitment will be done for Level 2 and Level 3 posts. The notification is released in the employment newspaper, further details can be checked on the official website (www.indianrailways.gov.in) by 13th September 2024.

The RRB aims to fill vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) posts, including graduate Levels 2 and 3 and undergraduate Levels 5 and 6 within Indian Railways. The candidates will be appointed for several NTPC positions, like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Station Master and more. Eligibility Criteria for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 

The candidate can only fill out the application form if he meets the eligibility criteria for a particular exam. This is an important aspect of the recruitment process. The criteria are age and education-related, but they differ for different posts.

  • The age limit for the Graduate level is 18 to 33 years.
  • The age limit for the Undergraduate level is 18 to 36 years.

The selection process for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024

Salary for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024

The RRB NTPC recruitment is for both graduate and undergraduate posts in railways. The recruited candidates will receive the salary as per the 7th pay commission. The salary will be according to the category-

    • Junior Clerk cum typists- Rs. 19,900
    • Account clerk cum typists- Rs. 19900
    • Trains Clerk- Rs. 19,900
    • Commercial cum Ticket Clerk- Rs. 21,700
  2. Salary for graduate posts
    • For Goods Train Manager- Rs. 29,200
    • For Chiefs commercial cum Ticket Supervisor- Rs. 35,400
    • For Senior Clerk Cum Typists- Rs. 29,200
    • For Junior Account Assistant cum Typist- Rs. 29,200
    • For Station Manager- Rs. 35,400

Along with the 7th pay commission, also includes allowances like house rent allowance, pension scheme, medical benefits and more.
