This information has been released on its official website on 29 October 2024. Bihar CHO Vacancy 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates applying should have B.Sc. Nursing degree from any recognized university or institution.
6 months Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) recognized by State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
Or apart from the above mentioned certificate course (CCH), it is necessary to have a Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) degree.
The age of the candidate should be at least 21 years and at most 42 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1 October 2024.
Age relaxation will be provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.

Bihar Community Health Officer Recruitment 2024 applications are being done through online mode from 01 November. Candidates who are eligible for CHO recruitment can apply online by following the procedure given below –
To apply online, first visit the official website of Bihar SHS https://shs.bihar.gov.in.
A link to Advertisement will appear on the home page, click on it and then click on More below.
Click on the button Click here to apply the Application under the link named Applications invited for the post of recruitment of Community Health Oflicer (on contractual basis) on your page.
As soon as you click, you have to click on the link Registered.
Now complete the registration by entering all the required information asked in the received registration form.
After completing the registration, click on Sign Up.
Now enter your registration number and password and login by entering the captcha code.
After this, enter all the required information asked in the application form like personal information, educational information, etc.
Now you have to scan and upload all the required documents.
Finally pay the required application fee and click on SUBMIT.
After successful submission of the application form, take a print out of it. This will be necessary for other stages to be conducted in future.
Every candidate selected for the post of Community Health Officer will be given a salary of ₹40000 per month. In this salary, ₹32000 per month will be a fixed amount while ₹8000 per month will be based on the performance of the selected candidate.
