Insatiable curiosity led him to earn a Doctorate of Law, confirming his reputation as an extraordinary scholar.

When Dr Prasad met Mahatma, his legal career was just beginning. Dr Prasad, inspired by Gandhi’s call for selfless service to the nation and the freedom struggle, quit his law firm to join the fight. He was a staunch ally to Gandhi and participated in important movements like the Salt Satyagraha and non-cooperation campaigns.
