SSC CHSL Age Limit 2025
Candidates who wish to take the CHSL 2025 examination must be between the ages of 18 and 27. Please check the following table and some important details.
- The age will be determined using the date of birth provided in the online application form and the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate. Change requests will not be taken into consideration.
- Candidates who were born between 02-08-1998 – 01-08-2007 can apply.
- The time of an ex-call up serviceman will be deducted from the required service for age relaxation.

To be eligible to take the exam, you must meet certain requirements of SSC CHSL 2025 eligibility for nationality. To be eligible to take the combined higher secondary examination, candidates must have the required nationality. To take the combined higher secondary level examination, candidates must be of one of the following nationalities:
Candidates can be:
- A resident of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- Bhutan or
- A Tibetan refugee who has moved to India prior to the 1st January 1962 to settle permanently in India.
- A person of Indian descent who has permanently settled in India after migrating from Burma (Burma), Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the East African Republics of Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania Uganda, Zaire Ethiopia, Zambia Malawi and Vietnam.
