Class 10 standards serve as the basis for the degree of difficulty. Since questions may be in Hindi or Chhattisgarhi without translation, the syllabus requires a basic understanding of these languages. The test will assess logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and language proficiency. Knowledge of Hindi and Chhattisgarhi will only be evaluated in those languages; no translation will be offered. Additionally, proficiency in Hindi at the Class 10 level is necessary.

There are seven papers in the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission’s CGPSC Mains Exam 2025. Instead of focusing solely on memory recall, these tests evaluate candidates’ critical thinking, analytical, and in-depth subject knowledge through descriptive questions. Each of the seven 200-mark papers on the CGPSC Mains exam takes three hours to finish. You can respond to all of the papers in Hindi or English, with the exception of the Language paper. Candidates are required to write two essays for the essay paper: one on a national issue and the other on a Chhattisgarh-related subject. After passing the Mains exam, candidates will be invited to a 150-mark interview and personality test. The test evaluates the candidate’s moral integrity, leadership, critical thinking, awareness, and analytical abilities.
