The percentage of marks established by the authorities is known as the India Post GDS cut-off. These grades are calculated using the candidates’ scores from their tenth grade. Higher-scoring students in their tenth grade will have a favorable cut-off percentage and be invited to the Document Verification stage.
All required and elective/optional subjects are included in the total marks for applicants having marks or a mix of marks and grades/points on their 10th standard mark sheet; any additional subjects are not included. applicants with better marks are given preference.
A multiplying factor of 9.5 is applied to determine the marks for each topic (compulsory and elective, excluding supplementary subjects) for applicants who have grades alone.

Important Guidelines for Applicants Following the Publication of the India Post GDS Merit List 2025
The Document Verification (DV) phase is required of candidates who made the shortlist in the results.
Make sure all original paperwork is prepared for the DV process, including identification documents, caste certificates, and educational credentials.
