Bihar SSC CGL Selection Process 2024
The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) will use two processes to hire applicants for various open positions:
Stage 1- Prelims Exam
Stage 2- Mains Exam
Students can only apply individually for the Mains Exam if they are eligible for the Prelims Exam. In relation to the total number of open positions, BSSC CGL is anticipated to shortlist applicants in a ratio of 1:5 for the Mains exam.
BSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
- One qualifying exam is the BSSC CGL Preliminary Exam 2024.
- Students will have two hours and fifteen minutes to try every question on the BSSC CGL Prelims.
- Four points will be given for each right response, and one point will be subtracted for each wrong response.
- The BSSC CGL Mains Exam in 2024 will be open to candidates who passed the BSSC CGL Preliminary Exam.

BSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern 2024
- There will be two papers in the BSSC CGL Mains Exam 2024.
- Candidates would be getting 2 hours and 15 minutes for each paper.
- Paper 1 will consist of a language test in Hindi with 100 questions and 400 possible points.
- Candidates will only be eligible for exam 2 if they receive a minimum qualifying score of 30% in paper 1.
- The BSSC CGL Mains 2024 Paper 2 will consist of three parts. Paper 2 follows the same format and content as the BSSC CGL 2024 preliminary test.
