December 2024 Bank Holidays : Reserve Bank of India announced holidays

The Reserve Bank of India has released a list of the 17 bank holidays in December, including the second and fourth Sundays. Included are both national and regional holidays. National holidays affect all banks in the country. Regional holidays only affect a specific state or region. These days, only the banks in the state or region are closed. A bank holiday in one state doesn’t mean there will also be a holiday elsewhere. So, it’s important to note that the banks won’t remain closed in December for 17 days across the country.
