IIM CAT EXAM 2024: November 24, 2024, the CAT 2024 exam is being administered by the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
IIM CAT EXAM 2024 result expected date
Three timeslots at certain testing locations will be used for the tests. Students are required to be at the exam location one hour prior to the start of the test, bring their CAT admit card, and provide a valid form of identification.
The IIM CAT 2020 exams will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta today, November 24th, 2024. Exams are held at 170 test cities in 3 slots. Aspirants to the CAT 2024 exam must have their IIM CAT Admit Cards 2024 with them. They will be required to provide a valid ID at the test centre for verification.
It is estimated that this year, approximately 3,29 lakh students are expected to appear for the CAT exams in 170 test centres. The first slot for CAT 2024 will be from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM. The candidates must arrive at the centre by 7:30 am to complete the verification and frisking process before the start of the test.
The CAT Admit Card contains the details about slot timings, and the reporting time at exam centre. It is advised that students download the CAT admit card 2024 and bring the printed copy to the examination centre on the test day.
IIM Calcutta also provides the CAT 2024 Mock Test links for the convenience of the students. Students can practice the links on the official site with just one day left before the exam. The mock tests will help students understand the exam pattern, and also prepare them for the exams.

What should you bring to the exam center?
Online testing will be used for the Common Admission Test 2024 exam. The subsequent documentation needs to be brought to the testing centers by candidates.

Documentation of valid identification (passport, driving license, voter ID, PAN card, and Aadhaar card)
Scribe documents
Dress Code
Students are required to adhere to the dress codes issued by the exam body.
Students cannot wear clothing with metal buttons, embellishments or pockets.
Both female and male candidates must adhere to the dress code.
The candidate verification process will begin with a frisking of the candidates at the examination centre.

The exam centre will provide students with pens and paper for rough calculations or rough work.
Before reporting to the centres, candidates must ensure that they have checked the details of their slots. It is recommended that candidates arrive at the exam centre an hour or more before the start of the test. The frisking process and the verification of candidates will take place in the centre one hour before the start of the exam.
