Candidates who are eligible and have a 10th grade certificate with at least a 50% average mark, as well as an ITI in the relevant trades, can apply online. November 28, 2024 . December 27, 2024.
Selection will be made on the basis of a merit list, based upon marks obtained in matriculation and ITI. This will then be followed by a document verification process and if necessary – undergoing medical fitness tests.

The candidate must have passed the Matriculation (10th grade) examination under the 10+2 system with at least 50% in total.
ITI certificate of completion in the relevant trade, granted by NCVT/SCVT.
RRC Kolkata Apprentice Age Limit
Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: 24-years-old
Age limit count starting on 01 January 2025.
Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years; OBC 3 years; PWD 10 years and ex-servicemen as per rules.

Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The RRC Kolkata Apprentice Job Selection Process is divided into three stages, which are listed below.
Merit list: A merit list is prepared on the basis of marks attained in Matriculation with a minimum aggregate of 50% and ITI marks for relevant trades.
Document verification : Short-listed candidates will then be invited to document verification.
Medical fitness: Candidates are required to be medically fit, and must meet the standards prescribed by the Apprentices Act of 1961.
