Tamil Nadu state quota counseling rounds for NEET PG
There are four rounds of the Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counseling process: round 1, round 2, round 3, also known as the mop-up round, and a stray vacancy round.
Round 1 of Tamil Nadu’s NEET PG counseling
A non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1000 is required of all eligible candidates taking part in the online counseling for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024. The fee must be paid online by visiting our official website. Candidates who were assigned during the first round of online counseling should download their provisional allotment order and enroll in the Medical College course by the deadline, along with the necessary paperwork.
Medical Counseling Round 2
Tamil Nadu Round 2 The remaining vacancies from not joining, not being assigned seats, resigning seats, and/or newly sanctioned seats following Round 1 counseling are filled through NEET PG counseling. The rank list and reservation requirements are followed in filling the positions.
The second round of online counseling is open to candidates who did not register and did not lock their choice in the first round of Tamil Nadu NEET PG counseling.
Candidates who enrolled in Round 1 online counseling and did not withdraw or join the course within the allotted time frame are also eligible to participate in Round 2 counseling.
Candidates may leave their seat within the time frame provided by the Selection Committee if they have kept their seat from Round 1 after the deadline, accepted a see allotment seat during Round 2, or received a new seat during Round 2.
Within the time frame specified by the Selection Committee, candidates who have been assigned a seat in Round 2 may resign.
When a candidate who was given a seat in Round 1 decides to upgrade in Round 2, that seat is displayed as a virtual vacancy in Round 2. During the second round of choice filling, any candidate may select and lock down the specified seat (virtual seat). However, if the candidate selected in Round 1 withdraws, that seat is only given out in Round 2.
Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024-2025 : Round 3 (mop-up round)
