The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now released the UGC NET Admit Card 2024 for the December cycle on the official website at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/ along with exam centre and shift details. Admit cards for the 3rd of January 2025 exam have been released. Other dates will follow shortly. The admit card is available for candidates who are required to take the UGC NET Exam December scheduled for 3rd Jan 2025. They can access the link by entering their login credentials. Downloading the admit card well before the exam date is advised in order to avoid any last-minute problems.
UGC NET 2024 Exam for 85 subjects will be conducted in two shifts, from 9:00 am to 12 pm and 3:00 pm until 06:00 pm, at different exam centres in the country. The UGC Net 2024 admit card is required to take the exam. It contains all important information such as your name, the venue of the exam, the shifts, etc.
The UGC NET is a national level exam that is conducted twice a year (June and December) in order to determine Indian nationals’ eligibility for the positions of ‘Assistant professor’ and ‘Junior research fellowship and Assistant Professor’ at Indian Universities and Colleges.

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024
- The UGC NET examination will be conducted online (Computer Based Test).
- The UGC NET consists 2 papers.
- Paper 2 will be based on a subject chosen by the candidate.
