The Union Public Service Commission has announced the official results of the UPSC civil services examination (CSE) mains 2024. This was done on the 9th December, 2024. The official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) allows all candidates who took the main examination to check whether they have qualified for the main test.

The UPSC successfully conducted the UPSC CSE Exam for 2024 to select a total 1206 candidates into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service and other Central Services Groups ‘A’ and ‘B.
According to the UPSC selection process, candidates who qualify in the main exam will be called for the UPSC CSE Interview Test which is the last stage of the selection.

UPSC Civil Services Mains Result 2024
14627 of the approximately 13.5 lakh applicants who took the preliminary exam this year were selected to take the main exam. The UPSC mains written test took place from September 20 to 29, 2024, and the results are available on the official UPSC website, www.upsc.gov.in. The Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) must be completed and submitted by all candidates who were selected for the Personality Tests (Interviews) between December 13 and December 19, 2024.

- First of all the candidates have to visit the official portal of the commission, after that,
- Navigate the Result Link On the homepage, click the link which reads: “Written Results: Civil Services Examination (Preliminary), 2024”

What’s Next after UPSC Mains Results 2024?
The UPSC Mains Results 2024 PDF will list all the candidates who are eligible to take the Interview Exam.
